Dwarf planet 'becoming a comet'

2003 EL61 is a large, dense, rugby-ball-shaped hunk of rock with a fast rotation rate.
Professor Mike Brown has calculated that the object could be due a close encounter with the planet Neptune.
If so, Neptune's gravity could catapult it into the inner Solar System as a short-period comet.
"If you came back in two million years, EL61 could well be a comet," said Professor Brown, from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in Pasadena.

"When it becomes a comet, it will be the brightest we will ever see.




"Frankly I do not think that some sinister invisible energy-wraith is soon to dump on us and crush us like grapes. Such recent grim warning could be the design of Psyops Social Engineering Corp. However since Comet McNaught observations I've had a hunch that stuff in space is at least unusual, perhaps as described by Dmitriev and others. McNaught is strange, Comet 2P/Encke is coming in strange, and we hear tales of a dwarf planet 'becoming a comet'. That is strange too. Therefore I do suggest a cautious watch.-- Kent"

Scientists were startled when they discovered in 2004 that the center of our galaxy is emitting gamma rays with energies in the tens of trillions of electronvolts. Now astrophysicists at The University of Arizona, Los Alamos National Laboratory and the University of Adelaide (Australia) have discovered a mechanism that might produce these high-energy gamma rays.

Astrológico???? Meus amigos, não confundam astrologia com astronomia ....
Já percebi que vai uma grande confusão nessas cabeças. Ide ao dicionário e leiam o significado correcto; e não era astrológico mas galáctico. E se não leram os tópicos bem, ele passou no dia 1 de Março na forma de uma "onda" de energia pelo nosso sistema solar:



Os colegas andam muito distraídos e confusos ... É normal nos dias que correm!

Já agora leiam também os posts acima ... talvez se elucidem um pouco mais...

Luís França, de facto tens razão, e digo-te que percebo muito bem a diferença entre astrológico e astronómico. Saiu-me, nem reparei ...

Agora, em relação ao tsunami galactico, estava apenas a referir-me àquele post sensacionalista de um tipo qualquer, que nem me lembro o nome, a avisar do perigo iminente de um cataclismo universal ...

Também me interesso muito por este tipo de assuntos astronómicos e dos seus mistérios, mas gostava que também se comentasse os acontecimentos depois de eles acontecerem ou não acontecerem. Neste caso, aconteceu a onda galáctica de energia, muito bem, mas não aconteceu nenhum cataclismo mundial, e também deveríamos comentar este tipo de notícias, quem as fabrica, com que intenção, que crédito deveremos dar, enfim, o que é de facto ciência e o que não passa de puro alarmismo.

Já agora, houve notícias de interferências nas telecomunicações, nestes dias ? Normalmente, estes fluxos de energia interferem muito nas comunicações terrestres ...

October, 2006 to study solar storms. The transit starts at 1:56 am EST and continued for 12 hours until 1:57 pm EST.
STEREO-B is currently about 1 million miles from the Earth, 4.4 times farther away from the Moon than we are on Earth.
As the result, the Moon will appear 4.4 times smaller than what we are used to. This is still, however, much larger than,
say, the planet Venus appeared when it transited the Sun as seen from Earth in 2004.
