A estratégia é tentar virar a opinião pública.

NABU and SAPO have exposed and detained an officer of the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the city of Kyiv and Kyiv region while receiving an unlawful benefit.

According to the investigation, the official received $68,000 from two citizens ($34,000 from each) for "resolving the issue" of removing them from the wanted list of the Territorial Centers of Recruitment and Social Support (TCRSS) and subsequently arranging a deferment from mobilization, as well as for ensuring they would not be held liable after obtaining a fictitious deferment.

LONDON, March 5 (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on Thursday that four additional Typhoon fighter jets would be sent to ‌Qatar as the conflict in the Middle East escalates, insisting that the UK has the right plan for defence.

KYIV, March 5 (Reuters) - Ukraine's F-16 fighter jets didn't have enough missiles to shoot down Russian drones and missiles for more than three weeks after supplies from Kyiv's partners dried up just as Moscow was preparing a massive winter air campaign, three sources said.

The acute shortage from late November to mid-December, which has not been previously reported, lays bare the vulnerability of Ukraine's air defences which rely heavily on Western allies for missiles and defence systems to repel frequent Russian strikes.
During the shortage, F-16 pilots flew daytime sorties and tried to hit drones with rotary cannons, a second source said, adding that it was too dangerous to conduct such missions in the dark even though Russian drone attacks usually happen at night.

Pilots also tried using missiles that had failed to fire on earlier missions in the hope they would work after maintenance, the source said. In some cases they were successful.

JERUSALEM, March 5 (Reuters) - Israel took the decision to kill Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in November and was planning to carry out the operation around six months later, Defence ‌Minister Israel Katz said on Thursday.
"Already in November we were convened with the prime minister in a very tight forum and the prime minister (Benjamin Netanyahu) set the ‌goal of eliminating Khamenei," Katz told Israel's N12 TV news. The timing was set for mid-2026, he said.

The plan was eventually shared with the Washington and brought forward around January after protests broke out Iran, when Israel was concerned its pressured clerical rulers might launch an attack against Israel and U.S. assets in the Middle East, Katz said.

BRUSSELS, March 5 (Reuters) - Countries in the Middle East have told European officials they are concerned about the risk of ‌civil war in Iran as a result of the conflict between Tehran and the United States and Israel, EU foreign chief Kaja Kallas said on Thursday.

"When we talk to the countries in the region, they are also worried about civil wars inside Iran because of the regime's leadership and what is going on there," she said ahead of a video conference with EU foreign ministers and representatives of the Gulf Cooperation Council on the situation in Iran and the broader Middle East.

Quem poderá estar a fomentar uma guerra civil? É um mistério. Ninguém sabe.

The U.S. government’s two foremost authorities on humanitarian assistance concluded this spring that Israel had deliberately blocked deliveries of food and medicine into Gaza.

The U.S. Agency for International Development delivered its assessment to Secretary of State Antony Blinken and the State Department’s refugees bureau made its stance known to top diplomats in late April. Their conclusion was explosive because U.S. law requires the government to cut off weapons shipments to countries that prevent the delivery of U.S.-backed humanitarian aid.
(...)
But Blinken and the administration of President Joe Biden did not accept either finding. Days later, on May 10, Blinken delivered a carefully worded statement to Congress that said, “We do not currently assess that the Israeli government is prohibiting or otherwise restricting the transport or delivery of U.S. humanitarian assistance.”
