No Bahrein foi noticiado algo interessante:

The former employee at US National Security Agency (NSA), Edward Snowden, has revealed that the British and American intelligence and the Mossad worked together to create the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

Snowden said intelligence services of three countries created a terrorist organisation that is able to attract all extremists of the world to one place, using a strategy called "the hornet's nest".

NSA documents refer to recent implementation of the hornet's nest to protect the Zionist entity by creating religious and Islamic slogans.

According to documents released by Snowden, "The only solution for the protection of the Jewish state "is to create an enemy near its borders".

Leaks revealed that ISIS leader and cleric Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi took intensive military training for a whole year in the hands of Mossad, besides courses in theology and the art of speech.

O ministro dos Negócios Estrangeiros espanhol, José Manuel García-Margallo, admitiu, esta terça-feira, a possibilidade do Executivo suspender a autonomia catalã para impedir a realização do referendo marcado para o próximo dia 9 de novembro.

Muita instabilidade pode estar no futuro do nosso país vizinho. Não esquecer que:

They cite, first, the stats: Catalonia represents 8% of Spain's territory, 16% of its population, 20% of its GDP, 25% of its tax revenues, and 35% of its exports (and 45% of high-tech exports). In return, it receives (in theory; the real figure may be much less) 11% of government investment.

Most of Ukraine's primary energy consumption is fueled by natural gas (about 40%), coal (about 28%), and nuclear (about 18%). Only a relatively small portion of the country's total energy consumption is accounted for by petroleum and other liquid fuels and renewable energy sources

http://www.eia.gov/countries/country-data.cfm?fips=up

http://www.jornaldenegocios.pt/econ...e_euros_nos_cinco_maiores_bancos_do_pais.html

Europa:

The report that was pulled showed Canada lost 59,700 full-time jobs in July, while 60,000 part-time jobs were created, for an overall flat market.

Economists had been projecting 20,000 overall job gains in July and were dusting off those projections ahead of Friday’s release.

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/better-news-expected-in-revised-report/article20071798/

After an unprecedented and massive revision, Statistics Canada said on Friday 42,000 jobs were created in July — not the measly 200 originally reported by the federal agency only a week earlier.

(...)

Statistics Canada, which has run into criticism in recent years over the quality of its data, on Friday said an “isolated incident” due to “human error” was responsible for the wonky numbers in the Labour Force Survey for July when it was initially released on Aug. 8.

While the total loss of full-time positions now stands at 18,000, an improvement on the 60,000 thought to have been lost in the original report, the federal agency said the jump in part-time workers was largely unchanged at 60,000

The Australian economy added 121,000 jobs in August, data from the Australia Bureau of Statistics (ABS) showed on Thursday, much higher than expectations of 12,000 jobs in a Reuters poll.

The addition of 14,300 full-time jobs and 106,700 part-time jobs - the most in at least three decades - pushed the unemployment rate down to 6.1 percent, after hitting a 12-year high of 6.4 percent in July. Expectations were for a 6.3 percent reading.

2011:

Germany's 11,000-odd municipalities had a deficit of €7.7 billion last year, the second-highest ever. The pain is uneven. Towns in the rich south were hit by recession. In other regions, including parts of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), the slump came on top of long industrial decline and years of fiscal rot. Municipalities face a “debt spiral” as interest rates start rising, says Martin Junkernheinrich of the University of Kaiserslautern

(...)

Some of the excess is pure fat. Municipal councils are “self-service cafeterias for political parties,” snarls Magnus Staehler, who as mayor paid off Langenfeld's debt. Senior jobs at city-owned enterprises come with lavish perks. State watchdogs should police local finances. When they are tough, as in Bavaria and Saxony, towns have no overdraft problem. In NRW and Rhineland-Palatinate they are weak.

2012:

Offenbach, a city of about 120,000 people neighboring Germany’s financial capital Frankfurt, is so mired in debt it had to ask the state of Hesse for a 211 million-euro ($277 million) bailout in June.

In so doing, it became one of the largest of 102 municipalities to tap 3.2 billion euros of aid Hesse is making available as the first of Germany’s 16 federal states to introduce a formal rescue fund for struggling towns and cities.

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-...-shows-debt-crisis-tentacles-euro-credit.html

2014:

Germany's sovereign debt shrank 1.4 percent, or 28 billion euros ($38.5 billion), last year, the country's statistics office Destatis announced Thursday.

By December 31, 2013, the total of Germany's public debt owed by the central government as well as regional and municipal authorities stood at 2.043 trillion euros - equivalent to about 78 percent of the country's annual gross domestic product (GDP), Destatis said.

The figure is still higher than allowed under EU rules which seek to keep national debt burdens of its 28 members down to 60 percent of GDP. However, Germany was one of the few EU countries able to reduce its sovereign debt last year. Greece's debt, for example, spiraled to 177 percent of GDP, while Italy owed debt amounting to 132 percent of GDP to creditors in 2013.
